Children and Young People's Plan

|

Children’s Trusts are local partnerships which bring together the organisations responsible for services for children, young people and families in a shared commitment to improving children’s lives. The Children and Young People's Plan sets out priorities for Lancashire Children's Trust and was created with the help of more than 400 children and young people.

From time to time parents and members of the public may express concern or make a complaint, either orally or in writing about some conduct/operation of the school, the conduct of the Headteacher, an individual member of staff, the governing body or an individual governor. The full complaints procedure can be obtained from the school office, but you can click here to obtain a leaflet outlining the complaints process.

When they are in school we take the utmost care to ensure that our pupils are using the internet safely. A copy of the school's Internet Use Policy is issued to every family and an agreement to abide by this is signed by each child, their parent/guardian and every member of our staff. All necessary safeguards are in place to ensure that no inappropriate websites are accessible from any of the school's computers.

This website provides valuable, up to date information for children and carers which may help towards ever safer internet use.

School Dinners

|

Each day our on-site catering team prepare a hot, balanced meal for our pupils which provides 2 of a child's 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. The menu has been analysed by a nutritionist and planned to provide the right level of nutrients that a child needs for a healthy diet. Most of the vegetables, salads, milk & potatoes that are used are produced locally and only free range eggs from local farms are used in the home made receipes.

Free school meals are offered to children of families who are in receipt of certain benefits. Click here for more information.
